Online Services The Citizen Services site handles many City of Dublin building permit needs, including permit inquiries, checking on the status of current plan checks, inspection results/history, and scheduling inspections up until 10:00 p.m. for a next-day inspection. Residential Evening Inspections We now offer residential inspections on Tuesday evenings, 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Please call 925-833-6620 the day before to set up an inspection for a next-day appointment. Over-the-Counter Residential Reviews Staff is now offering over-the-counter (OTC) plan reviews, 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., on Tuesdays and 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., on Thursdays, for limited residential projects. Plan Check Timelines It takes about two to three weeks to process a building permit that requires plan review submittals. A majority of minor permits are issued over the counter. View our frequently asked questions for more details. **Please note, due to a change in plan review systems DSRSD will no longer be reviewing new projects through the City’s eProcess360 as of July 1st, 2022. All projects subject to DSRSD review that are submitted on or after July 1st, 2022, must be submitted for plan review to DSRSD separately.
